The Capricornio Set brings together six exceptional Brazilian coffees from our trade partner Capricornio Coffee, a producer committed to regenerative farming.

Each coffee represents generations of family tradition and sustainable cultivation. This gift set celebrates intentional sourcing and the harmony between quality coffee and land stewardship.

Sourcing coffee with intention

Capricornio Coffee is our latest trade partner dedicated to implementing regenerative, sustainable farming practices alongside small-farm producers. The coffees curated in this selection of six Brazil coffees are the fruits of labour of our producers, cultivated under 300 years of Brazilian culture and family tradition.

What is regenerative farming?

Regenerative farming is an approach to agriculture that focuses on restoring and improving the health of the land while producing crops sustainably. Rather than simply maintaining soil quality, regenerative practices aim to rebuild ecosystems in harmony with nature.

This gift set comprises of the following coffees:

Maria Cristina | Producer: ANTÔNIO CARLOS

Antônio comes from a family with over 40 years of experience in coffee farming. He moved his family operation to Pinhalão and shifted his focus toward specialty coffee. His vision for the future includes renewing the coffee plantations and continuously investing in quality coffee.

São Luiz | Producer: CLAUDEIR & ELOIR

Claudeir began working on the farm alongside his father from an early age. In 2013, together with his partner Eloir, they shifted toward specialty coffee, inspired by Capricornio’s initiative that empowers women in the industry. Today, they are highly regarded with a farm that continuously produces award-winning coffees.

Sítio Jabotoma

Producer: LUCÉLIA & CLAUDEMIR

In 2009, Claudemir and his wife Lucélia fulfilled their dream of owning a coffee farm in Paraná. Claudemir quickly made his mark. Within 4 years his small, family-run farm has achieved near-90-point coffees and won regional competitions.

Dois Irmãos

Producer: NILTON RIBEIRO

Like many producers in Brazil, coffee has been part of Nilton's life since childhood. He is now a husband and father of two. Working alongside his father-in-law Agnaldo, he manages 11,000 Catuaí Amarelo trees on the shared family land.

São Francisco

Producer: VALDEIR LUIZ

Valdeir and his family have family roots in the region that stretch back to the 1960s during their grandparents’ time. From 2013, they started winning awards and eventually also opened up their farm to visitors from all over the world.

Maria Cristina

Producer: FRANCISCO CARÍA

Francisco Caría grew up in a coffee family and migrated to northern Paraná in 1984 in pursuit of new opportunities. His wife Maria, also with deep coffee roots, returned from Curitiba to inherit her family farm. Together with her brother Toninho, the couple continues to invest in specialty coffee.
