Located in Pedregulho, in the Alta Mogiana region of São Paulo, Fazenda Terra Preta is part of a historic coffee farm known for the quality of its coffees and technological innovations in cultivation.

Fazenda Terra Preta combines modern agricultural technologies with respect and care for the environment, also aiming to consistently provide better working conditions for its employees. "Coffee is a passion. Simply because of the incredible beverage it is, with its unique aroma and flavor. For me, in particular, it represents part of my roots," says Fernanda Maciel, who currently manages the property with her son, Felipe Maciel.

Fazenda Terra Preta also stands out for its sustainable agricultural practices, adopting innovative techniques to ensure soil health and ecosystem preservation. The planting of cover crops between coffee rows helps protect the soil, reduce temperature, and minimize herbicide use, while also enhancing rainwater retention. Soil fertility is maintained through organic compost as a natural source of NPK and other nutrients, while alternating mowing practices help conserve moisture and balance the ecosystem. To control pests and diseases, the farm invests in biological agents such as Beauveria bassiana, ensuring a more sustainable approach. Additionally, the farm adopts agroforestry systems and preserves 30% of its land, reinforcing its commitment to biodiversity and responsible production.
