$79.00 Sale Save
Single Origin

This is the third addition to the lineup of Geisha coffees from our first direct trade partner, Finca La Valentina in Panama. With a natural anaerobic process method, the prolonged fermentation period means that you can expect a distinct floral aroma that reminds of white peony, coupled with a syrupy, fruity cup in the mouth.

If you're looking for a coffee that packs a punch (a nice, delicious one), you'll find one in the La Valentina Geisha Anaerobic Natural.

Freshness

All coffee is delivered within one month of its roast date. While freshness is often ideal, coffee actually benefits from a resting period. For the best experience, we recommend letting your beans rest for at least 14 days post-roast. This allows time for proper degassing, resulting in a smoother, more balanced extraction and the full expression of the coffee’s flavour potential.

Grind
For peak aroma and flavour, we recommend grinding your beans fresh before brewing. However, if you prefer, we’re happy to grind them for you — simply select your grind size when you place your order.

Please see here for more information.

With every coffee subscription, you'll receive 1 or 2 bags of freshly roasted coffee beans — available in 150g, 350g, or 1kg sizes — depending on your choice. You can opt for deliveries every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks.

This is a recurring order with no binding period — you're free to edit, pause, or cancel your subscription anytime based on your coffee consumption needs.

Stay stocked up and in control, always.

Efrain & Benjamin Osorio

Finca La Valentina is a family-owned micro-estate farm run by the Osorio brothers in the Boquete region of Panama. Only 12.5 hectares in size, the farm prides itself on adhering strictly to a laboriously manual, pesticide-free regime. Little wonder then that their Geisha microlot had placed first in the 2011 Best of Panama competition. This coffee was processed at Casa Ruiz, a highly reputable coffee house in Panama committed to family and community development, as well as strict environmental standards.

IMPACT

The approximately 25,000 trees on the farm are directly managed by both of the Osorio brothers, with the support of a native family who also live on the plantation. On top of a house and full medical benefits, the farm also ensures that the children are properly schooled and not exploited for any form of child labour. To top off the estate’s commitment to progressive practices, they also work regularly with three other families from the community year-round and eight to ten during the busy harvest season. Clean and safe living quarters are provided for the temporary workforce, with a natural well on the estate itself allowing for running water and sanitary conditions.
